“Ordinary Superstar” is taken from Rina Sawayama‘s debut album “Rina” out now.
As you might know it, we’ve always believed in Rina Sawayama so we’re more than happy to see all the extraordinary things that are happening to this ‘ordinary superstar’. Talking about this track, which opens her excellent debut album and blends the guitars and choruses of Mitski with early-Britney Spears pop appeal, there’s now a video to go with it. Directed by Can Evgin, it was styled and conceptualised by Nicola Formichetti and focuses on Tokyo’s glamorous 1980s club scene. The video is out via i-D and you can watch it below pixels.
