Pop duo IDER sign to Glassnote Records, share new single ‘Learn To Let Go’

London’s pop duo IDER recently signed to Glassnote Records and shared their first single via their new label: ‘Learn To Let Go’.

Following up to their debut EP ‘Gut Me Like An Animal’ which was released earlier this year, Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville of IDER just shared a brand new single to celebrate their recent signing to Glassnote. Since the release of their debut single ‘Sorry‘, things seem to go pretty well for the London-based duo who started as a bedroom project a year ago in North London.

About ‘Learn To Let Go’, IDER detailed:

‘Learn To Let Go’ is about self-acceptance. Finding inner confidence and freedom,[…] I spin in my yellow dress”, a lyric which came from nowhere in particular, has come to symbolise the meaning of the song.

The colour yellow seems to be particularly important for the pair as they like to explain that it ‘universally represents courage, happiness and self-love’. Listen to their new single below:

As a good news never comes alone, IDER will also be playing some gigs through Europe, including two headlining shows at Archspace in East London on 25 and 26 October. Check the full itinerary below:
