With her The xx-inspired debut single “Small Crimes”, London newcomer Nilüfer Yanya made some appeal, receiving a huge support from the whole blogosphere. Today, she is back with the follow-up of this first release. “Keep On Calling” keeps the DIY style which was already at the heart of her first song. The artist notably takes inspiration from Nina Simone and Jeff Buckley, as well as modern influences Connan Mockasin and Rosie Lowe.
“Small Crimes” (watch the video there) and “Keep On Calling” are available on iTunes now via the Blue Flowers label. You can also attend See Nilüfer’s concert at The Slaughtered Lamb in London on November 17 (TICKETS).
