Signed to Mura Masa‘s label Anchor Point, like Bonzai, the mysterious duo Jadu Heart recently released a consistent and convincing first EP titled “Wanderflower”. The only thing we know about them is their names, Dina and Faro, as they didn’t drop the masks yet. But let us face it, we don’t care about their identities as the EP is super exciting. So if the idea of a lo-fi and ambient-pop project, that is mixed with electronica, beats, funk, trip-hop or even hip-hop seduces you, don’t hesitate and give it a try!
Late last year, The 405 met Mura Masa who told them a bit about his new protégés:
When you listen to “Wanderflower EP”, you will undeniably think of Jai Paul and A.K. Paul‘s productions. The beats are present but everything is elegant and subtle: the duo is signed by Mura Masa and they really have something different and relevant to propose, like the sweet opening track “Jewl” will prove it.
Honestly, the whole EP is awesome and it is difficult for us to highlight only one or two tracks. So you should definitely see the project as a united one. Nevertheless, our hearts are particularly beating for “Warm Magic”, which could not be better named, and “The Love”, a swaying, seductive and tropical lo-fi gem.
