Iris Gold, who made herself known less than a year ago with her debut R&B track “Goldmine”, just dropped a new crazy single. “Freakaholic” is a cover of Egyptian Lover and this new version was produced by MNEK.

The new version gets an obvious relift with a lot of attitude (did you recognize the sample of “Scandalous”?). As a club banger, it should definitely become a favorite piece for radios like BBC Radio 1 and DJs. It is quite different from what we heard from her so far but it proves her versatility and everyone need a kickstart like this to launch a career. We have to admit that it is not normally the music that we naturally cover but we have been seduced by this Fleur East-Uptown Funk vibes and by the production of MNEK.
