Drum roll and BOOM! Solange will headline the festival to perform tracks from her critically acclaimed album “A Seat To The Table”. She won’t be the only amazing R&B and soul artist as the energetic UK artist NAO and the sensual and mysterious soul of Sevdaliza were already announced! Dour’s curator Lefto also announces Soulection‘s Joe Kay and The Whooligan for a 4-handed B2B mix.
The Scotish hip-hop band Young Fathers, which recently released the amazing “Only God Knows” for the soundtrack of “T2: Trainspotting”, are also part of this new announcement. They will join Nas, Kate Tempest, Loyle Carner, Nadia Rose, Romeo Elvis & Le Motel, Rejjie Snow, Talib Kweli and The Underachievers; confirming by the way that the hip-hop line-up of 2017 can’t be missed! We’re also happy to see that Cracki Records‘ Agar Agar, a band that we featured on our ‘Artists To Watch in 2017‘ list, made it once again. The sensual pop of HER will provoke some sensual encounters for sure!
On the electronic side, the genius Machinedrum will play live and we also recommend you the immersive Nordic touch of Kiasmos‘ dj set. The two acts will join Justice, Jon Hopkins, Amelie Lens, Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz, Noisia, Powell, Roman Flügel, Sam Paganini, Vitalic, Todd Terje and The Black Madonna.
Lastly, Dour wouldn’t be Dour without the crazy jumping crowds! This will be the job of Crystal Castles, DIE ANTWOORD and Big Freedia, amongst others. In 2017, Dour will undoubtedly compete with the biggest European festivals as Phoenix, Goldie, The Kills, Pusha T, Two Door Cinema Club and Metronomy were already previously announced.
Those new names are only some of the 136 artists that are actually confirmed and guess what? It’s not over yet! #DOUR2017
