DEER DU BOIS playlist #201: Unbloom, Cor.Ece, ROET…

Every Wednesday on HighClouds, we post the much-awaited and surprising playlist of our Brussels‘ friend, tastemaker and collaborator: sir Deer Du Bois.

Take a chance on pop!

This week we discover the new turn Canadian singer Unbloom takes in his power anthem “Chances”. Queer duo Twinkids are back with a laid back, smooth pop track “Jigoku Tengoku”. Music to make out with your lover.

Long Beach newcomer ROET, serves his soulful sound on a moon-lit silver plate with his debut song “Points”. Swedish singer Ingrid Witt comes with the right attitude and proves her self-confidence with her bubbling “Fuck Your Ego”. London-based rising folk star Sabiyha reflects on her personal journey to independence in “Wolf”.

Producer turned singer Cheer Captain opens up on his new “Retaliation” EP. Listen to “You Lost Me”, the opening track and get sucked right in. Our biggest discovery this week is multi-media black queer artist Cor.Ece who brings us this ambient, touching and personal elegy “Console My Soul”, from the “Between Something and Nothing” soundtrack.

If you want to drink a bit more until you get tipsy, you should check him on Facebook and Soundcloud, and follow his regular posts on our site.
