DEER DU BOIS playlist #198: Fee Lion, No Mono, Dahlia Sleeps…

Every Wednesday on HighClouds, we post the much-awaited and surprising playlist of our Brussels‘ friend, tastemaker and collaborator: sir Deer Du Bois.

Never knew music could be as sweet as this week’s new picks!

We start this week’s selection with two covers! Get covered by eccentric and delightful singer Fee Lion and her collaboration with Chemise Cagoule on all-time classic “Some Velvet Morning”. Mickey Kojak‘s version of “Something About Us” by Daft Punk is proof that music never gets old.

Dark but delicious pop is the newest track by UK band Bearcubs on “Slow Highs”. Dwelling in the same, hazy mists are No Mono and their amazing new song “Tidal Fight”.

London-based artist Liv Lovelle reflects on a new sense of purpose in new single “All That Matters”. GODMODE signee Aaron Childs brings out the fun in new song “Basketball”.

Dahlia Sleeps show us the way out of the darkness into her soulful pop-ballad “Only You”. In case you’ve missed it, Twin Shadow is back with “Saturdays”. A vintage rock-love-song, topped with the sweet voices of Haim.

If you want to drink a bit more until you get tipsy, you should check him on Facebook and Soundcloud, and follow his regular posts on our site.
